Filter Bags
Micron Filtration Filter Bags are manufactured for industrial processes and applications including:
Adhesive, Automotive, Beverage, Biofuel, Chemical and Petrochemical, Cosmetics and Toiletries, Cutting Fluids and Cooling Water, Dairy Products, Detergents, Electronics, Foods, Inks/Dyes, Lacquers, Lubricants, Oils, Paints and Powder Coatings, Pharmaceutical, Resins, Varnishes and Water Treatment. Due to the various sizes and styles available, Filter Bags offer a better flow in a variety of viscosities.
- Needlefelt Filter Bags including Polypropylene, Polyester, Polypropylene extended life, Polyester extended life, Nylon, Nomex, PTFE and Wool are available in micron ratings ranging from 0.5 to 200 micron.
- Monofilament Mesh Filter Bags including Nylon, Polyester, Polypropylene and PTFE are available in micron ratings ranging from 1 to 1500 micron.
- Filter Bags are available in various lengths from the standard 9” (230mm), 15” (380mm), 17” (435mm) and 32” (810mm) or to your bespoke specification.
- Filter Bags are available in various diameters including the standard 4” (104mm) Ø and 7” (180mm) Ø which fit universally into all filter housings or alternatively to your bespoke specification.
- Filter Bags are available in the traditional stitched form, welded seal or a fully welded construction.
- Filter Bags are available with a variety of support/sealing mechanisms such as steel rings, bands, draw strings, plastic flanges or moulded ring. Other materials and support/sealing options are available on request.
Filter Bag Housings
Micron Filtration Filter Bag Housings are precision manufactured for industrial processes and applications including:
Adhesive, Automotive, Beverage, Biofuel, Chemical and Petrochemical, Cosmetics and Toiletries, Cutting Fluids and Cooling Water, Dairy Products, Detergents, Electronics, Foods, Inks/Dyes, Lacquers, Lubricants, Oils, Paints and Powder Coatings, Pharmaceutical, Resins, Varnishes and Water Treatment. Micron Filtration offers a range of exceptional filter housings to suit all requirements and budgets.
- Filter Bag Housings are available in various materials including polypropylene, 304 Stainless Steel and 316L Stainless Steel.
- Filter Bag Housings are available for various flow ratings ranging from small batches (e.g. <5m³/hr flow) to continuous flows up to 960m³/hr.
- Filter Bag Housings are available in different configurations including single, dual, modular and multi-bag configurations for high flow rates.
- Filter Bag Housings are available with a choice of inlet and outlet orientations and a selection of connection types including BSP (Male or Female), ANSI or PN16 Flanges.
- Filter Bag Housings can be manufactured for operating temperatures up to 110⁰c
- Filter Bag Housings can be manufactured to either a 6 bar or 10 bar pressure rating and can also be CE Marked.
All vessels are designed, manufactured, tested and inspected to meet and exceed EC regulations* (Pressure equipment directive 97/23/EC), which enables us to offer CE marked pressure vessels to all classifications. They can also be certified to ATEX Directive 94/9/EC for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
*All filter vessels are designed and manufactured in accordance with the Pressure Vessel directive 97/23/EC and welding standards in PD 5500. Welding procedure Test Certificate to:
a) BS EN 288 Part 3 (Including amendment A1) b) ASME IX (Ref: QW200).
